Festival Statement: Our mission is to offer filmmakers a vibrant platform to grow their careers through networking and showcasing their work; to foster a vibrant local film industry; to inspire and enlighten audiences through a cutting edge cultural experience; and to give back to the community that helps make this happen. The Festival will include 4 days of screenings, workshops, panels and parties. It's goal is to facilitate meaningful relationships between filmmakers, actors, distributors, agents, managers and film enthusiasts. Films will receive audience recognition in one of the world's premier creative communities.

Festival Statement: The Championship is a year long competition for low-budget film/video productions. Films are submitted throughout the year according to genre. For each month there will be a full-length and short film chosen. These films will represent their genre in the final leg of the competition. The last chance category caters to anyone who feels that they have something special that didn't quite fit in any of the other genres. This covers everything from music videos to experimental film. The final competition will take place January 7-13. All finalists are invited to attend, but you do not have to be present to win the competition.

Festival Statement: The White Sands International Film Festival represents an elevated and exciting world class event model transformed and reshaped from the prior White Sands Film Festival which saw its last event in 2007. This new and international event promotes many film genres focusing especially on short narrative films and documentaries from around the world. It promotes extensive ties both internationally and actively with associated cities in Mexico. These ties are seen as the first generation in the film festival industry in supporting and promoting the film world in Mexico; never seen before in the history of the Film Festival business.
