Nyaho-Tamakloe is not a genuine party man

The Greater Accra Chairman of the main opposition NPP, Ishmael Ashittey has told XYZ News that he doubts the credibility and the loyalty one of his party’s founding members Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe.

In his autobiography dubbed: "Never Say Die", which was recently launched, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, according to the Daily Dispatch which published excerpts of the book, accused Nana Akufo-Addo, former Accra Mayor Adjiri Blankson and Ishmael Ashitey for the party’s defeat in the Greater Accra region.

He wrote that the NPP flagbearer chose an ineffective approach which threatened his ambitions in the region.

Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe also accused the regional chairman of causing disaffection among leading party members in the region.

However, Ishmael Ashittey in an interview with XYZ News said Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe’s assertions in his book are preposterous.

According to Mr Ashittey, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has never been a serious party member.

“For me nobody should take him serious, he has never contributed anything to the party, and I don’t know whom he can bring on board the party, so I think that people must ignore and forget about him.

“Some of us don’t trust him again, we don’t believe he is a genuine NPP man,” Mr. Ashietey said.
