Festival Statement: AJFF is the second largest Jewish film festival in the United States (and largest film festival in Atlanta), showcasing some 50 international works that examine various aspects of Jewish life. Moviegoers cast their ballots for the Best Narrative and Best Documentary film of the Festival, with winners receiving the AJFF Audience Award. Screenings are supplemented with guest appearances by filmmakers, actors, authors, academics and other expert panelists. In 2007, the AJFF was recognized with prestigious grants from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

Festival Statement: The Atlanta Underground Film Festival is on a mission to elevate the concept of cinema from simple entertainment to a prestigious art form. We focus on exposing underrepresented film and video artists who's work proves to break the artistic barriers created by typical Hollywood production$, while enlightening and educating the community. Every genre, from shorts to features, will be represented in this five day festival. Artists from all over the world will convene for this event, and audiences of every demographic will be inspired by the breath of fresh air circulated in to the independent artists community.
